The CNC Punching Machine is equipped with a Multitool system capable of selecting automatically from 4 to 6 or even 11 tools. Moreover, in order to provide the customer with a higher flexibility, you can fit either high turret punches by Amada or single Trumpf type punches through a proper adapter supplied on demand. The CNC which is equipped with graphic interface or Windows XP with “touch screen” technology makes the machine programming very simple and intuitive. The user, indeed, thanks to this touch screen, is able to program the most simple and in use sheet workings like for example single and in line punching, holes grid, circular and linear nibbling, window, notching and all the other kinds of workings on the line with the market requirements. The machine board software is already equipped with a function to import the dxf files and nesting and this makes the machine capable of working with any kind of external software. The adjustment of the punch stroke is automatic and can be programmed through the software, with automatic creation according to the thickness. PROBLEM: Take apart any typical office work station or boardroom cupboard and you’ll find yourself with a pile of wood panels in groups of similar sizes & thicknesses, and with various patterns of drilled holes. It’s a crucial need for each panel to be accurately drilled – securing the flush joins between panels that give the final unit its strength and quality in workmanship and appearance. Despite a skills shortage reducing the availability of cabinet makers, the industry has continued to grow and achieve greater efficiency through automation. You don’t need to be IKEA* before you’re producing enough units to make automation viable. To produce a reasonable quantity of completed furniture units (say twenty desk stations) it’s quickly apparent that this will require an exponential amount of operator and machining time. CNC machines such as the SKIPPER 100 from Biesse have delivered substantial time savings while assuring accuracy in drilling, while other such machines can even include gluing, dowel insertion and more in the same process.
