Home Made CNC Router Cutting Guitar, Pt.5: Body Profiling

I’m using again the 1/4″ compression spiral, to keep the bottom edge of the cut clean. Sorry for the short vid and crappy lighting…

In this final installment, I placed the body in a holding fixture I made by cutting the negative of the body shape. This insures that all my routes will line up correctly. I’m using a 1/2″ 2-flute straight bit. There’s some crappy toolpath setups that I did that caused the chip in the tremolo cavity route, but I was able to fix that by taking a .060 cleanup pass.
