DIY CNC Router, cutting BASS GUITAR BODY, part 1: PROFILING

In this video, I am doing the profile cuts for a bass body, out of a 1-piece billet of northern ash. Using a 1/2″ single flute motise compression spiral bit, at about 16k rpm and 120 ipm. taking 5/16″ deep passes. Spindle speed control courtesy of SuperPID. Toolpaths created woth Vectric VCarve Pro.
