Many people get into CNC through a passion with woodworking. CNC give you repeatable results over and over. There is CNC Wood Turning, CNC Wood Routing and some CNC Cutting going on in woodworking. Some sign making falls into this category as well.
CNC also finds its way into woodworking through cabinet
shops. Cabinets have to be very precise
and often the patterns are repeated through the design. This type of work lends itself to CNC.
