Hello Ivan and Forum members;
     I must say that I have learned a # of things about CNC but I've posted 3 questions that I thought I'd at least get a couple of replies to basic settings for my Hobart 500I. The manual that came with the machine is very Vague. I'm going to try the old tried and true trial and error Hobart doesn't have a tutorial but this machine is basically the same as the Miller 375 Extreme. Miller has tutorials and some learning video's. I appreciate being let into this forum but am d...

They are known as disposables and are cheap like £2.20 each from J L or £2.50 ish long from 2mm to 6mm, price goes up a bit then.
Page 9 usually on offer top right JL3.

Heres the type but extortionate price more than double! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/4-MM-FC3-SLOTDRILL-MILLING-CUTTER-ENDMILL-UK-HSCO-/120535956354?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3

Its a bit late but do this stuff all the time on aluminium.
Key here is as above must have bottom cutting, a 4 flute is not. I usually buy in bulk FC3 disposable cutters which are 3 flute and bottom cutting.
Absolutely no problem what so ever drilling 1/8 and above through 5/8 thick.
Most of these drilling s are through hole edging on chamfers, radiuses and also breaking out in the same....
